Submissions Policy

All submissions to the HFA of any kind—including postings on HFA’s website—become the joint property of the submitter and the HFA, with the understanding that the HFA may, using its own discretion, share this information with others unless otherwise requested in writing by the submitter. The submitter’s expenses cannot be reimbursed by the HFA. Questions? E-mail us.


The Hull Family Association is providing this forum for an open exchange of information, but is not necessarily responsible for its content. On occasion, a fellow member with expertise may be able to comment on the accuracy of posted information, but due to time constraints, this is not always possible, and cannot be assumed. (This especially is true of genealogical data [GEDCOM] files.) The HFA reserves the right to edit and/or remove posts in order to insure the integrity of the information contained herein. Members are advised to verify the posted information against the following records and resources:

Some records may be found at HeritageQuest and/or Many libraries have subscriptions to HeritageQuest can be accessed using the library card number of a subscribing library.* (See HFA Newsletter, Summer 2005, p. 4 for more details.) Census records can also be accessed through the Family History Library, Salt Lake City; the genealogical section of any library; and the National Archives and its branch facilities.

* For instance HeritageQuest is listed in the databases open to registered users of the Denver Public Library.
