The Hull Family Association Journal began publication in 1990 with the stated purpose of compiling, preserving, and disseminating Hull* genealogical and historical records.

Publication Dates
The Journal is usually published in April (Spring) and August (Summer), beginning in 2007. (Previously three issues were published per year.) In the rare instance that we substitute our conventional HFA Journal with another publication, we will try to keep the cost to publish it approximately the same so the member receives equal value.

Submissions
We especially like to feature articles on our members’ lines whenever possible, and we welcome having well-documented contributions from our members. Please review these simple submission formatting guidelines.

*Hull Surname. The Hull Family Association gladly welcomes all descendants who share the various surname variations of Hull, Hohl, and Holl. Our bylaws specify that membership in our association requires that a person bear the name Hull (or one of the variations), be descended from or related to a person of that name, or have an interest in the Hull name. Use of Hull on this website therefore presumes a reference to all of the surname variations. [return to text above]
